Sharing Your Skills and Expertise with Social Enterprises

Feb 6, 2026

About Us
FUSE Network supports social enterprises to start, strengthen, and grow, helping them sustainably support their communities and create a fairer economy. We work with organisations across Norfolk, providing workshops, 1:1 support, and networking events to build skills, confidence, and impact.

We’ve recently launched an online community and learning platform, where social enterprises can access resources, connect with peers, join webinars, and engage in shared learning. We’re seeking volunteers to support this project by contributing directly to our Knowledge Bank of resource documents. You’ll help to build practical guides, templates, and resources on topics like business planning, financial management, digital skills, marketing, and measuring social impact and much more!

Our Project
We’re bringing people together to share their expertise and create practical guides, templates, and resources for our Knowledge Bank. These resources focus on business basics for social enterprises, such as:

  • Developing a business plan
  • Financial management and budgeting
  • Marketing, communications, and social media
  • Measuring impact and reporting outcomes
  • Using Microsoft Office and other digital tools
  • Building confidence in online systems and platforms
  • Governance, legal structures, and compliance
  • Planning and delivering activities or events
  • Your own area of expertise – whatever you can share to help a social enterprise succeed!

By sharing your skills and knowledge, you’ll be helping social enterprises save time, gain confidence, and overcome challenges, making a real difference in their communities.

How It Works
Getting involved is a simple and flexible way to volunteer!

  • Get in touch: Let us know your area of expertise and interest by emailing hello@fusenetwork.org.uk
  • Connect with FUSE: We’ll arrange a quick video call to discuss your contribution.
  • Create your resource: This could be a written guide, a video tutorial, a voice recording, downloadable templates, or any format that will be helpful.
  • We publish it: FUSE will add your resource to the our Knowledge Bank, making it available for social enterprises to access immediately.
  • Thank you: We will share any feedback, updates and thanks from our network who have made use of your contribution.

By contributing, you’ll be turning your skills and experience into practical tools that help social enterprises thrive and make a real difference in their communities.

Why Volunteer?
By contributing your skills and experience, you’ll make a real difference for social enterprises in Norfolk and beyond. Your work will help organisations navigate challenges, save time, and deliver greater impact for the people they support.

Just an hour or two of your time could save a social enterprise days of work and make a real difference!
